Our Founder, Your Expert.
Vienna Zuccaro is a dog person, through and through.
From permanent scars on her knees pretending to be a dog at age 5, to a thriving petsitting business at age 10, her lifelong adoration and respect of dogs is uncontested. She spent her childhood studying dog breed books, and watching copious amounts of Animal Planet. At 14 Vienna received her first show dog, a Hairless Chinese Crested named Oscar. This unlocked the next level of “dog person”, one which there was no turning back.
Vienna uses her extensive knowledge of purebred breeds to matchmake humans and dogs. She believes wholeheartedly that there is a perfect dog out there for every lifestyle, and is passionate about aligning prospective dog owners to their perfect breed. Her devotion to supporting only the most ethical and responsible dog breeders is what drives her work. She is determined to educate her clients and make sure that they are not taken advantage of by the many inhumane commercial and backyard breeders that are unfortunately so prevalent today.
Her foray into natural pet health began when her dog Tristan was diagnosed with auto-immune disease and near the brink of death from a months-long battle with IBS. Vienna started researching alternative therapies and after consulting with a holistic veterinarian, Tristan’s auto-immune disease finally went into remission. The solution? A quality species-appropriate raw diet. We made the decision to humanely end Tristan’s life when he was 16 years old, due to the discomforts his old age brought him, nothing to do with his autoimmune health struggles.
This would launch a strong curiosity for the science of integrative and natural healing. From nutrition to alternative therapies such as chiropractic and acupuncture, Vienna has a niche expertise in Canine Wellness which is hard to come by. It was this journey that led her to obtain a Certification in Canine Nutrition. Vienna will advocate for your dog, while taking into account your lifestyle, budget and limitations. There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to deciding what to feed your family member, and as a result provides custom plans for every client.
When Vienna is not dedicating her time to helping dogs and their owners, she is forecasting pet trends and designing concepts for a Fortune 50 retailer, or you can catch her at a dog show with her Grand Champion Spinone. She lives in Minneapolis, MN with her Spinone Italiano (Beatrice), Löwchen (Gertrude), Devon Rex Cat (Concetta) and wonderful animal-loving Husband (Dylan).
